IT Professional and Teacher
I am an IT professional working in management, analysis, design, research and teaching of Business Information Systems.
10 years ago I started in banking IT in Deutsche Bank, Global Technology as a technical analyst in designing an application for financial reporting (balance sheet, profit-and-loss statements). Since then I worked in many different roles. Currently, I am working as a business / functional analyst supporting the design and delivery of an application for recovery and resolution planning.
Within Deutsche, I work in a poject team including customers and vendors delivering information systems that help our customers to do their jobs better. The solutions we build are based on standard IT technologies such as Business Process Management Systems, ETL Systems and Application Servers.
Besides my job in Deutsche, I started as a professor at Frankfurt University for E-commerce / Business Information Systems early 2015. I like sharing my knowledge with students and enjoy the time at university getting insights into new technology applications such as cloud computing and agile methods for running IT projects.
My areas of expertise are: Business Process Management, Application / Project Mangament, Software Analysis and Design.
In 2006 I obtained my doctor from Goethe University in Frankfurt and I am a certified Project Management Professional (PMI.org).
